Graciela's Story
It was 2 days before New Year's Eve.
Snowing and freezing. Ohio.
It was about 10 pm and I began to start freaking out in a hotel lobby where I had wandered upstairs in the stairwell to get warm.
I was cold, broke and wandering around downtown Chicago.
The police arrived, they were older, conservative and full of hate.
The paramedics arrived.
The female nurses were very kind.
A psychotic break.
