If I were free what would I be
I'd speak to people about silly things

I would sing to children about make-believe worlds
And show them the oysters that produce pretty pearls

I bet these things sound foolish to you
But they wouldn't if you were me

I'm a person who has never ran down a beach
I'm a person who most fun things were just out of reach

What would I do if I could be free
I guess I would just be me
