I’d like it any place, especially on you.
No one could look better, as far as I can see,
With that kind of face than you, to me.

It’s a very special face in a very spatial world.
And I wouldn’t change a line, even if I could.
Except to keep you smiling in the wake of then and now;
As much as fate and your grace will allow.

It gives just the right impression and it’s just the very hue
To be the uppermost expression of the one and only you.
So I always will remember, when you’re gone—save but a trace,
How much I like your kind of face.
